The time is almost here.

COVID - 19 Update

Dear friends of the State Games of Oregon,

We hope this finds you well and healthy. When thinking about and planning our events, our primary concern is the safety and well-being of our athletes and spectators.

We are making decisions by following the lead of the Oregon Health Authority, our State officials, the CDC, United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee, and the National Association of Athletic Trainers. When preparing for this year’s games, we are considering the risk levels of each sport, the facilities at which our athletes will compete, the number of participants and spectators, and their level of comfort, and creating sport-specific safety protocols.

We anticipate needing more volunteers, and will especially be seeking volunteers with medical backgrounds.

We are hopeful to get things going early in 2022 as we know everyone is eager to hit the track, course, gym, field, etc! We look forward to everyone being able to compete  as well as reconnect with friends, teammates, competitors, and the community.

We are preparing for various scenarios and plan to have  updates regularly. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Stay healthy everyone!

Sincerely,

    The State Games Team
